The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) is scheduled to participate at the annual African Mining Indaba, a prestigious gathering of key industry executives, stakeholders, and funding institutions.
The Indaba is back following a two-year hiatus necessitated by Covid-19 restrictions and resulting social and economic considerations. Scheduled for 9 -12 May at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the Indaba will be a hybrid and physical event.
Themed ‘Evolution of African Mining: Investing in the Energy Transition, ESG and Economies, this year’s Indaba is significant given the industry’s resilience amid rising global economic challenges and geopolitical tensions in parts of Eastern Europe.
