Candice Leith was seriously injured in a shooting incident on the N2 at Spaghetti Junction on Monday morning after an object placed in the road damaged her vehicle's wheels.

After a security company stopped to assist her, she was robbed by two assailants, one of which was armed and subsequently shot her in the leg. She tells Darren Maule and Keri Miller about the harrowing experience, moments after waking up from an operation to repair the damage done by the bullet.

Candice stated in an unrecorded pre-interview, that there was more than one motorist whose vehicles were also damaged by objects on the road, reporting at least 2 other vehicles that had stopped in front of her.
