A South African mobility tech start-up with a mission to digitise the country’s notorious minibus taxi industry has raised an undisclosed amount in pre-seed funding from leading angel investors. Founded in 2021 by Riley and Jamie Wyngaard, Loop provides both commuters and drivers with a platform to interact, facilitate payments, plan, monitor trips, and soon even insure belongings while commuting.
