Ricardo Duarttee - Playing first tournament for the Blitzboks

The defending Dubai Sevens champions, the Springboks Sevens will be targeting a big performance this week in the United Arab Emirates.
The Blitzboks had a disappointing outing during the season-opening Hong Kong Sevens at the beginning of the month they will be desperate to get the ball rolling in their 2022/23 campaign.
The team will feature new faces in the form of Dalvon Blood, Ricardo Duarttee and Masande Mtshali, while some of the seasoned stars such as Branco du Preez will be back in action.
Duarttee said that as a rookie he wants to emulate the likes of South Africa’s most experienced player, Du Preez.
