City of Windhoek – Prepaid electricity meter TID rollover

The City of Windhoek will join the rest of the world in rolling out the Token Identifier (TID) Rollover project which aims at updating all prepaid electricity and water meters to comply with the required updates in order to continue functioning after the 2024 deadline. The update is necessary as the software that runs the prepaid
meters will expire worldwide by 24 November 2024.
