SA paleoscientists save Stilbaai rock depicting 'A day at the beach' in the Middle Stone Age

On a rugged, remote stretch of coast east of Stilbaai in the Southern Cape, palaeoscientists Charles Helm and Jan de Vynck have discovered a rock believed to contain one of the oldest examples of our human ancestors drawing symbolic expressions in the sand.
