Everyone can recall this time of the year last year, where the global pandemic had just introduced itself to us and the panic and uncertainties around it. To help us unpack the giant Covid, was Prof Alan Whiteside, professor at the Balsillie School of International Affairs and professor emeritus at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is well known for his innovative work in the field of the social impacts of HIV and AIDS and recently the Coronavirus.
