TECH & INNOVATION – Adoozy Power, Africa's first power bank rental network

GUEST – Kegan Peffer, CEO of Adoozy

Adoozy has launched South Africa's first contactless power bank rental network, bringing a much-needed solution to the African market where the need for consumers to transact and connect on-the-go is becoming a necessity. For consumers, the main drawcard will be the ease and convenience of the Adoozy offering. An individual would need to download the Adoozy app and register with sign up information, a fingerprint scan and their card details to become a customer. Consumers can then locate their nearest Adoozy Power Tower, wave their hand at the Adoozy

Power Tower and the Adoozy solution will link their fingerprints to their bank card. For the moment, this means consumers can rent the power bank free of charge every time it is returned - within 48hrs – to any Adoozy Power Tower located within the country. In addition, Adoozy is also rewarding first time users with their share of R500 000 worth of data when they return their power bank for the first time.
