More programs are finding ways to help connect people with Indigenous languages. The Hug-a-Tree and Survive program, through AdventureSmart, offers free resources and videos in both official languages, as well as Plains, Woodland Cree, Dene and Michif, to help keep kids safe in the woods. Regional coordinator, Linda Mushanski, sits down with Evan to talk about these first Indigenous language resources produced by their organization’s Langauge Keepers.
