Kathleen Germs left her career as a teacher in Saskatchewan behind to focus on filling a gap in the school system: improving reading skills for kids. She now works to help children become better readers and tries to tailor her approach to thoughtfully meet the needs of each child. She has been vocal online about the frustrations with the Saskatchewan education system, however, and joins Evan to share what she saw during her time as a teacher.
