'Seek ye first the kingdom of God' is a biblical
phrase from the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 6:33). It is
part of a larger passage where Jesus encourages his
followers not to worry about material concerns such as
food, clothing, or worldly possessions. The complete
verse (Matthew 6:33, King James Version) states: 'But
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness,
and all these things shall be added unto you. Join us as
