A New Regional Ballot Paper Has Been Added For This Year’s Elections

The 2024 general elections are just under 3 months away. The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has a mammoth task ahead as South Africa faces its most unpredictable national election of the post-apartheid era. Kgomotso Meso was joined by IEC Chief Electoral Office, Sy Mamabolo, to speak about the commission’s plans of the elections. Mamabolo clarified the need for three ballot papers for this year’s elections, a first since first democratic elections in 1994.
