#FirstThingsFirst - A new dawn in politics?

There were two political press briefings yesterday. One was held by ANC Secretary General, Fikile Mbalula, and the other by EFF leader, Julius Malema. They both behaved differently from how they have acted before. There was an air of maturity, respect, and humility in their demeanour, with the latter even mentioning that going forward, they will have be a more "mature and robust parliamentary opposition”. Even the DA has appeared less racist over the last week. The questions the team and listeners pondered on are, “now that these parties have changed their tone a little bit, do you think it’s going to serve them well? Do you think the mask wear off in a few days or are we witnessing a new dawn in politics?”
