Pravin Gordhan has died. He became the face of resistance against state capture after he was fired as Finance Minister in 2017. A trained pharmacist, Gordhan was the first Commissioner of the South African Revenue Service and helped turn it into a world leader. His last posting as Minister of Public Enterprises was unsuccessful as parastatals lurched from one disaster to the next. The team shard their thoughts on his political career and asked listeners which Gordhan from his colourful legacy they identify with.
