Drive Moment - Has Restaurant Bill Drama Ever Changed Your Friendship?

Loading player...
As seen in The South African, a man revealed that he was invited to a restaurant by his friends who abandoned him with a R18 300 bill. Him and his partner were last to arrive at the restaurant and had barely eaten much. Slowly he didn’t know that people were leaving, and he was left with the huge bill. After posting the slip on Tik Tok, he called out the group without mentioning their names and said that they mustn’t do this to people, and that he didn’t know that it was possible to pay separate bills. Have you ever found yourself in a similar position with your friends? Where what was meant to be a great night out turns out to be a huge blow to your wallet because your friends "forgot" to pay their part of the bill? How much was the bill? Did you ever get over it? Or Did you confront your friends? How did your friendship change after that?
