Dali Mpofu quits EFF and joins MK party

Former EFF chairperson advocate Dali Mpofu says he was among those who orchestrated the birth of the uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) in 2023. And for some time, Mpofu and former president Jacob Zuma were the only two people who knew about the plan to establish a new political party - while the two were still engaged with their now former parties, the EFF and the ANC respectively. He is the latest prominent member of the EFF to desert the party for Zuma's MKP. Mpofu speaks to Phemelo about his exit.
