As Moses nears the end of his ministry, he counsels God’s people to choose life. He outlines the way to do this in Deuteronomy 30:20. In it, Moses reviews the terms of God's covenant with His people, explaining to them that walking in a covenant relationship with God means making a radical decision to commit themselves wholly to the Lord and His ways. Stating, in no uncertain terms, that to choose the Lord is to choose life. The idea of choosing life indicates that people have a choice, a decision to make. We choose life by choosing God. In concluding our study, Pr Chifamba will talk to us about how we can respond to the Lord in faith, love, and obedience, and thus receive eternal life.
