Deputy Minister of Higher Education - Buti Manamela – visited Wits University today - to monitor the institutions preparedness for the 2025 academic year. He has been engaging with the universities management - as well as the Students Representative Council on the challenges faced. These include registration, accommodation and tuition fee issues. Phemelo is in conversation with Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Higher Education, Tebogo Letsie who was part of the delegation of officials visiting the institution on various issues affecting the higher education sector.
