"I accidentally found out that my partner of nine years bought an engagement ring. I really don’t want to tell him that I know, because it will obviously ruin the surprise. I am nervous about our future (not in a bad way), but now that I know it’s happening soon, I feel like I’m losing my mind. Should I be open and tell him that I know or should I just suck it up and carry the secret and let it consume my entire being?"
