Die 12de gekeurde Suid-Afrikaners het vyf drieë teen hul sterker teenstanders gedruk om agtereenvolgende oorwinnings by die Wêreldbeker te behaal en sodoende te verseker dat hulle na die uitkloprondes deurdring.
Na die oorwinning het afrighter Swys de Bruin gesê dat die harde werk deur die spelers sowel as sy mede-afrigters beslis afbetaal het.
