Health experts are reassuring South Africans that sanitary pads remain safe to use. The assurance follows a study by the University of the Free State that found low levels of endocrine-disrupting chemicals in some products. Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says the chemicals are commonly found in many everyday products and that the study did not establish any link to health risks for women and girls. The
