Curator at the NWU Gallery, Sheryl Msomi joins Yolanda Maartens in the OFM Art Beat to talk about the latest group exhibition hosted in Potchefstroom. The 1976 youth uprising is 50 years ago this year and this exhibition brings together a reflection on the past through the lens of today’s youth. If the youth of 1976 contested the classroom, then fifty years later the artists brought together in Repair of the Present contest the archive. This exhibition is on until 24 July.
