2018 FIFA World Cup - 3 July 2018

All the quarter-finalists will be decided this evening at the 2018 FIFA World Cup being played in Russia.
Last night it was so nearly another big name being bundled out of the global showpiece, with Japan almost stunning the highly fancied Belgium in Rostov-on-Don.
After going down 2-0 in the second half, the Red Devils, became the first team since West Germany in 1974 to comeback to win a knockout match. The game nearly went to extra time, however, a counter attack in the dying second saw the Eden Hazard’s side scoring the winning goal.
While it was heartbreak for Japan, the game was without a doubt the match of the tournament thus.
They will now face the Samba Boys of Brazil in the quarter-finals, and this promises to be one thrilling encounter.
This evening, England, will want to keep their dream alive when they take on the Los Cafeteros of Colombia.
This is without a doubt one huge challenge for the English and the side from South America could very well end their tournament. To be fair to Colombia, a win will also not be a shock at all.
England has not won a single game in knockout football for the past 10 years, and the nations hope are riding on a big performance this evening.
The English manager, Gareth Southgate, says that their destiny is in their own hands now.
