Uganda election outcome

Uganda held the elections last week and the result were announced over the weekend declaring Yoweni Museveri as the winner of the elections.

International Media houses have been reporting on the win but on the ground, Uganda is on fire as a silent genocide continues unnoticed by the world.

His opposition Bobi Wine tweeted yesterday that he under house arrest, with no access to food. Journalist are being attacked and hashtags like #EyesOnUganda, #AfricaForUganda and #Stand WithUganda are flooding Social Media as ordinary citizens make pleas to fellow Africans, Africans leaders and bodies like the European Union to stand with Uganda and acknowledge the atrocities they are experiencing.
