Vuma 103 takes pride in its solid Inspirational, Family & Community Values, and its innovative approach to Programming, Events and Activations; coupled with its extensive community involvement, all of which are guided by its intrinsic understanding and personalised approach to its audience.

The station broadcasts in isiZulu & English, and the format is strong with
inspiration led music including R&B, Soul, Afro Pop and Gospel.
It is entertaining, informative, and jammed with features, fun and a relevant,
modern approach to the needs of the Province.

The station's strategy has now been refined to meet the changing needs of the province's listeners. Research conducted at the end of 2016 showed us that many Black listeners in the 35+ age group do not feel that there is a radio station that is designed to meet their needs specifically.

The music, programming and promotional changes that the station is now
embarking upon are a direct response to what our people of KZN have asked for.

In a short time, Vuma 103 has become a mindset; and listeners have made it their own. So tune in, sit back and embrace the awesome sounds of what brings KZN together, and what drives it forwards …Vuma 103...Adult Radio For The Young At Heart.
